A wedding without rain, wow what a difference it made. Warren and Mandy had perfect timing as the whole week before the wedding was bathed in sunshine so they had time to go to the beach and swop their UK tan for a Durban one. I always look forward to photographing at Cranford as it is such a beautiful venue and Debbie and Alex are the most chilled hosts and never seem to fuss about anything and still make sure everything runs smoothly, not to mention the food that is so delicious. The whole day was so relaxing, for me anyway, as Warren and Mandy just went along with anything and really seemed to be having a blast. I had to often wait for them to stop laughing so that I could take the photo which is never a bad thing. The guests enjoyed the sunny afternoon and the pretty surroundings and even the croquet could not drag them from the Boma where they enjoyed catching up with family and friends. The reception was highlighted by some really humorous speeches and some funny group photographs when the guests took advantage of the many props that were provided. I think some people were living out there dreams by dressing up in wigs and fur etc. It always makes for a good laugh and lots of fun. The groomsmen had put together a funny slide show of Warren’s not so memorable, or should I say very memorable, moments which made every one laugh and even made a few faces go red(mostly Warren’s). Alan from DJWorx had a tough time fending off some wannabe djs and also having to cover two dance floors for the first dance but he did a fine job and got everyone rocking afterwards. Warren and Mandy were perfect clients as they just loved the day and went along with whatever happened which made it really easy for me as I prefer to capture all the moments as they happen and have as little interference as possible. I wish you two all of the best and hope that you continue to smile and have as much fun as you did on your wedding day.
