Robert and Sarah at Netherwood

Sarah and Robert had very specific ideas and thoughts on how their day was going to pan out so I was quite relieved when the weather played it’s part.  Netherwood is an exquisite venue and Carolyn and her staff did a fantastic job (and of course the food was delicious).  Robert and his groomsmen were very relaxed and spent the day chilling while Sarah got woken up at 6:30am by the lady doing the nails and by the time I got there it was still a rush to get done on time (the joys of being a man).  Richard junior (Sarah’s brother) did a fantastic job with the service and so did Richard senior in coping with his daughter’s special day.  The photoshoot was a lot of fun and although all the girls were not quite prepared for their hiking experience (who goes hiking through the fields in high heels?), they still enjoyed themselves.  We even finished ahead of schedule which meant the festivities could begin earlier than planned.  That was just the start of a wild party and I am not sure what time they finished but it must have been late as their were human pyramids being built, guys doing summersaults on the dance floor, crazy aunts dancing in the water feature and who knows what else.  Well done Pierre on getting the party rocking.  It was a fun day for everyone and Sarah and Robert went through a lot of effort to make their day unique and to have it done their way, well done guys and all the best for the future.  And if I see another Blue Steele it will be too soon, these guys were professional!

I loved the colour of the dress as it was very unusual and different to the traditional plain white dress.

The guys chilling and playing a bit of rugby.

It's always interesting watching the various expressions on the guests faces during the service.

Congratulations Robert and Sarah!

Ideal hiking conditions for high heeled shoes (inconsiderate photographer).

Robert is not a Formula One candidate judging by the spray but on the other hand everyone was keen to have a sip and not have it sprayed all over the country side.

Another Blue Steele moment. Number 50 something by this stage aaargghh!

Amazing how the colour of the dress matches some of the colours in the rock face, I was glad that I suggested this arbitrary looking place as a backdrop. I don't know if Sarah was so happy as her shoes got full of red mud. Oops sorry.

Thanks to Robert for being such a sport and climbing up here.

Very symbolic as Sarah loves shoes and Robert loves bicycles. There was even a fun competition to guess how many they each had and I just cannot mention those numbers incase of an out break in riots amongst couples all over.

Some very funny sketches and interpretations of Sarah and Robert but a fantastic idea.

A beautiful venue, wow!

Speeches.

Don't try this at home folks. This is a trained and well oiled professional.

Some fun moments from a wild, wild party!
