I was driving down the coast to Selborne Hotel for Keagan and Candice’s wedding when something told me that the wind was blowing, could it have been the car suddenly swaying from side to side on the road? You know it is going to be a tough day at the office when the sky starts looking like something out . The afternoon was a mixture between pouring rain and howling winds and just howling winds. Keagan seemed a little anxious in the build up to the service whilst Candice seemed to be taking everything in her stride although she wasn’t the one standing at the end of the aisle waiting. The service went off smoothly except for the one and only hymn not being sung but nobody made a fuss and soon we were exiting the chapel into the start of another down pour. Guests quickly made there way to the hotel for drinks and snacks and as soon as the group photo and family photographs were taken we rushed off to brave the weather for the photoshoot. It was difficult for everyone in the howling winds, rain and fading light but thankfully Keagan, Candice and the bridal party were very obliging and I don’t remember one of them actually complaining so thank you to you all. The hotel at Selborne Hotel is always a good bet for photographs as well so I wasn’t too worried about the weather as we could have done a lot indoors as well. Trish and her staff at Selborne did an awesome job on the day and kept the reception flowing from one formality to the next and I have to mention the tasty food of course, Yum! Michelle once again did a grand job with the sound and music and I always enjoy working with her as she is never one to shy away from trying some outrageous songs yet at the same time seems to keep the dance floor packed. It was a roller coaster of a day with some extreme weather to contend with but Keagan and Candice remained calm thoughout so thanks guys for being such awesome sports and for being so honest and humble, it was a pleasure being with you on this day. I wish you well for the future ahead.
