Jonathan and Kim at Breakers Umhlanga

I have to be honest I was a bit apprehensive when Kim told me the venue was Breakers(no offense) but wow have they turned it into a stunning venue.  Jonathan wanted to have his casual shoot done at a barber shop and unfortunately he could not find one that had the original barber chairs etc but it was something different and actually worked out perfectly. Cafe Barber did a great job with the guys.  The service was on the beach and I am not sure how many of Oro’s friends actually watched the service as most of them were body boarders and the waves were pumping in the background.  It was such a treat to have a service in the open and with so much light available it gave me the opportunity to capture a lot of the guests as well.  I took the bridal party on the walk through the forest and swamps and ended up with some really fun shots.  There is just so many places to take photographs at the venue so what a pleasure.  I got the feeling from the beginning after seeing some of their friends that it was going to be a wild party and they did not disappoint. It did get a bit too wild with people dancing with wine bottles in hand and human pyramids etc but they all had a whole bunch of fun.  Jonathan and Kim were so easy to work with and just went along with every suggestion and idea that I had so thank you to you guys and all the best for your future ahead. Well done to the Labola team for a fantastic job with the decor and to the Breaker’s staff for their delicious food and amazing service.

Jonathan enjoying the barber shop experience.

The boys on their way down to the service.

A beautiful day for a beautiful wedding.

Kim on her way down to the beach.

I love this shot through the chairs with the sea in the background.

Jonathan looking quite relaxed just before the service.

Some of the guests enjoying the service and beautiful setting.

I had my flash synched to the gentlemans in the congregation haha! A one in a million coincidence especially during the day when the flash is not usually so noticeable.

Love this moment!

Oros and Kim having a lot of fun.

Oros getting congratulated by friends and family while I sneak around undercover. Not really but it sounds like a James Bond scene.

Everyone thought I was daft asking them to pose in front of the toilets. Well maybe I am but it worked out ok.

One of my favourite photos from the day.

A stunning venue for a wedding.

I saw this room and had to use it for a cool group shot as it has such character.

Let's get the party started yeehaa!

Drinking competition Take 1.
