This is how the pre-wedding day meeting went: laughter, more laughter, crying from laughter, laughter, more laughter , crying(Greg seeing all their savings disappearing). For some reason I knew this was going to be an enjoyable day(wow how did I figure that out). The threatening rain which eventually started during the photoshoot could not even put a damper on things. Gregory and Gobisha were extremely relaxed in front of their friends and family and seemed to enjoy each minute even during the service. The decor was exceptional and compliments must be given to the Zimbali staff for their great hospitality and professional attitude http://www.zimbali.co.za/. Graz from http://www.durbanweddingproductions.co.za/ was a pleasure to work with and it should be interesting to see the creative footage that she got especially some of the funnier moments(there were no shortage of these). Although everything had been thought of and a lot of planning had been done Greg & Gobisha were quite open to letting the day take it’s own course and take things as they come(a good way to approach things as it takes the pressure off of everything being perfect and gives you less gray hairs). http://www.silverbackpro.co.za busted some big, old tunes from the 80′s and 90′s which kept everyone rocking and even threw in some bhangra to boot. Greg and Gobisha stayed on the dance floor from the start and I have to admit that Greg had me in stitches of laughter from some of his antics. And here is the scary part-Greg, who is hard to take seriously with all his joking and laughter, has probably flown you and I around SA on one of SAA’s aeroplanes. aaargh!

This was one wedding that I had the honour and pleasure to organise at the Fairmont Zimbali Lodge and Resort. This couple was an absolute delight to work with from the beginning! Their energy and positive attitude towards everything made the planning of their wedding such a pleasure! I pray that they have a happy and lasting relationship.
Hi Linda That decor was just beautiful, well done. I had to stop myself from taking too many photos of the decor.
