On Friday I ventured up to the Roseway Waldorf School to take some photographs of all the children, and teachers, dressed up as their favourite characters from books. Each year the Roseway Waldorf School celebrates the St John's Festival around the winter solstice and for the first time that I can remember it was held in the school hall as the weather has been dodgy of late. On Saturday parents and children joined in to help on a few projects at Roseway such as re-building the pond at the Memorial Garden, covering library books, chopping down trees, filling sandpits, repairing Guinea Pig cages and many more.
