We were fortunate enough to shoot the marketing material for this show in Lamontville, the setting for the play. After meeting the cast during this shoot, it was a privilege to shoot the opening night’s performance at the Playhouse. Such energy, such passion and a truly entertaining performance. Kudos to the cast and, especially to Mbongeni Ngema, who wrote the play. Well done guys!!

It’s return by popular demand to the Playhouse this season is directed by it’s creator, Mbongani Ngema, and features two of the play’s original cast members. Three additional gifted performers round out the cast of this great South African stage classic.
