Getting My Feet Wet

My poor water housing has been lying on the shelf gathering dust and begging for a swim so I made an effort yesterday morning to get both of us into the water and we had some fun. The port is scratched and was holding water droplets but we still managed to get a couple as the photo-sluts jockeyed for position. The peak was a bit shifty and I often found myself out of position but I guess that’s what lack of practice does. The workout was good and the view down the barrel made the swim worthwhile – there’s something mesmerising about a breaking wave that held my attention for too long and resulted in plenty on the head. This winter I AM getting in the water more often so watch this space……

Seeing this one tempted me to take my camera for a swim

and this one had me scurrying for my housing

The perspective is always so much better from the water

    • Hey Bruce, thanks for taking a look – always appreciated from fellow togs.

Also had a brief look at your site and looking good. Hope you’re getting to shoot some of the Billabong next month.
