The Open Air School opened 90 years ago catering for children with varying physical disabilities. I was fortunate enough to shoot the school choir together with some of the KZNPO members prior to Saturday evening’s performance – what a humbling experience!! The Gala Concert on Saturday evening was a very special event that was extremely well attended. Congratulations must go to the school for the impeccable organisation and to the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra for their support of the school. The talent witnessed on the evening was out of the top drawer and the kids seemed quite at home in this company.

hi, was happy to see the open air spirit still going strong. I was a pupil there in the 60′s and i was one of the little girls in the photo with the man with the banjo. The lady was a woman who used to host a party once a year for the entire school. Fond memories!
